These are a very special ignition packs. It was designed by MAE ourselves for direct usage on DLE, RCGF and RCEXL ignition units. There are 2 futaba type connector on these packs, the one with black/white wire is the charging port while the red/black wire is the drain port. The drain post is automatically regulated to 5V and at this voltage, you'll never fry your ignition units again!

The sticker on the packs shows LI-Fe the reason for this is, the cathode material is made from Li₂FePO₄F which in short we typically name it as Lithium Ion or Li-Io but off course that is just the general name for it. So we leave it as the actual chemical composition name Li-Fe.

The nominal voltage on these type of cathode material is 3.6V and at fully charged these cells voltage is at 4.1V. These corresponds to pack fully charged voltage of 8.2V. Please select Li-Io on your digital charger to charge these packs, as the cut-off voltage will be pre-programmed to 8.2V. Don't forget, the charging lead is the connector with black/white wires!!

About the drain connector, the output is regulated to 5V with max current drain of 1A. This is more than enough drainage limit for your typical ignition unit. With the capacity of 2200mAh and weighing only at 100grams, these packs will keep your airplanes flying through-out one weekend without charging! (Based on 5 flights per day at 15 minutes each flight)
